After the split hand move, resplit usually occurs when a player receives another similar card or a card of the same value for ex. a pair of 2s, a pair of 5s and pair of 7s etc as we have seen in the split move. And now it is the players’ foresight to split further or not. In case if he goes for that the hand is split into two and now the player is must to bet equal for both hands. And then the person who bets on the game plays out for each hand as if it was a single hand.
- Odds of resplitting:
At some casino tables where betting is done, aces can only be split once and no resplit can take place after that. Once these two aces are split, then only one more card is traded to each hand. And by any chance, if this happens to be a 10 or a card that is valued at 10 then the hand totals as 21 and is not considered a blackjack hand. Therefore a hand valued at 21 is less than that of a blackjack hand and the player might lose the bet on that particular play.
